The Greenwich High School Jazz ensemble will perform at the Greenwich Town Party family music festival taking place on Saturday, May 25th, 2019. Consisting of 18 brilliant jazz musicians, the ensemble will showcase their expansive, masterful repertoire to large audiences at the festival. While this performance will testify to their talent, they have already earned recognition as they performed at Alice Tully Hall and Avery Fisher Hall. They were also finalists in Lincoln Center’s National Essentially Ellington Jazz Competition.
The GHS Jazz ensemble is among seven bands that will play at the this year’s Greenwich Town party. They are the youngest players, but students are confident that they will wow the crowd just the same.
